Take a tour along Chicago’s newly created Riverwalk.
Learn about the history of the Chicago river
and how it served a pivotal role in the growth of Chicago.
The Riverwalk connects many of Chicago’s beloved architectural landmarks like Marina City, Merchandise mart, the Wrigley Building and many more. Blocks of newly rehabbed waterfront spaces have been opened with many more in the works.
Your tour starts at the famed Tribune tower where guests
explore the legendary building's 150+ historically significant artifacts installed into the tower walls. Touch a piece of the World trade centers crumpled steel as well as pieces of the Berlin wall- Germany, The Great Wall of China, The Taj Mahal- India, Cave of the Nativity- Bethlehem, the Great Pyramid- Egypt and the Parthenon- Greece.
We go inside the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum.
Beginning at river level and spiraling five stories up,
the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum provides
a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore a historic landmark bridgehouse.
We stop by the Wrigley Building for some
chocolate samples at Ghirardelli and history of the building. Take pictures of Merchandise Mart, Trump Tower, Marina City and more on your journey.
We end with a stop at one of the riverfront bars/restaurants for your choice of a craft beer or glass of wine (soft drinks for the kids) paired with some light appetizers.
Guests are encouraged to hang out, eat and/or take advantage of exclusive drink specials for our groups.
