Chicago River North Pizza Walk

Saturdays & Sundays 1:00-3:00p

The Chicago Pizza walk is a food tour through downtown

Chicago's River North neighborhood,

celebrating one of the foods that put Chicago on the culinary map.

Your expert guide will teach you the true history of Chicago deep dish and the main players in the deep dish story,

We start right where it all started, Pizzeria Uno/Due.

Don't be fooled by the other fakes claiming to be the original,

we take you to where it was invented in 1943. See both historic mansions that Ike Sewell turned into pizza parlors.

Next we mix it up with some thin crust pizza.

Chicago is famous for deep dish however we have many types of amazing pies. You are going to love how Chicago does thin crust.

We end at Gino's Brew Pub in the historical

cable car powerhouse for their legendary deep dish pizza.

Gino's is one of the big names in the deep dish game since 1966.

Guests are encouraged to hang out, try a flight of their award winning beer and bring a sharpie to add your name to their walls.

"It's one of the greatest cities on the planet. My heart beats differently when I'm in Chicago. It slows down and I feel more at ease."
